While working at the cable station, he discovered his desire was to work the front of cameras. After landing a role on TV, he starred in many episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor was naturally talented and was a huge hit on television. Aspired to be a star, he began a career in film and gained fame in comedy roles. The career of his character was further boosted through his role as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In his later years and grew older, he began to venture into producing and directing. He has received numerous awards as well as nominations for his performances in the film Birdman.
